In addition to freelance editing for numerous companies and individuals, I’m currently the education coordinator for the Editorial Freelancers Association, and I’ve held staff editorial positions at Publishers Weekly, PCMag, and About.com. I also founded the writing advice column Story Hospital. I volunteer with Readercon, one of the world’s foremost literary conferences, and the Hunter College Campus Schools. I’m proud to be a member of the EFA (see my EFA profile). I believe strongly in giving back to my communities and especially enjoy teaching writing to children and teens. I live in Brooklyn with my family, two cats, and several thousand books. My pronouns are they/them.
